Your Words have Power.

 Words!
The words I speak have great power to influence others, but they also determine the direction of my life. I must be careful to say good things.

The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit. Proverbs 18:21 (NIV)

Therefore consider carefully how you listen. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has will be taken from him." Luke 8:18 (NIV)

What can block you from hearing God when he tells you he loves you?
Words! Thoughts!

Whatever you think about and talk about and listen to a lot will control your life.

We all talk to ourselves in our thoughts. What you say to yourself, in your thoughts and with your mouth, is so important.

Be careful to manage what you read, what you write, what watch, what you listen to, what you think.

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Php 4:8 NIV
